Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is one of the technologies that can be used to reduce CO2 emissions. But it is not easy to understand. bp wanted Pulse to come up with an easy way to explain the process.
Our role:
Worked with experts at bp to understand the processes and mechanics behind the storage of captured CO₂ deep underground
Found a way to explain this in way that is easy to understand, dispelling the myth that CO₂ remains a gas that can leak to the surface

Rock Book:
An innovative, impactful way of showing an analogy to what actually happens
Sourced supply of sandstone rock and packaged small pieces into a special informative packs
Instructions demonstrated how to drip water onto the rock so that it becomes absorbed
Analogous to CO₂ which compresses to liquid form deep underground and bonds with rock
Shared at industry and environmental events including international and UK conferences and exhibitions
